GyroCare Pro stores your data on your device. There are no user accounts, no cloud sync, and no server operated by us. We do not collect, receive, store, or sell any personal information.
The only data that leaves your device is your approximate location, sent to third-party weather and mapping services so the app can show you wind, density altitude and place names. You can turn this off.

We collect nothing. The developer operates no server and receives no data from the app. We have no ability to see your maintenance records, flight logbook, aircraft details, or location.
The app stores the following locally on your device only:
This data is never transmitted to us or to any third party. It remains on the device until you delete it or delete the app.
Purpose. The app uses your device location to retrieve local weather, wind and density altitude, and to record GPS flight tracks if you choose to use flight tracking.
What is shared. When fetching weather, your geographic coordinates are sent to the third-party services listed in section 5. Nothing else is sent with them — no identifier, no aircraft data, no records.
Your control. Location is optional. You may:
Declining location disables weather features and GPS flight tracking. All maintenance and logbook features continue to work.
Retention. Your most recent coordinates are cached on your device so the app can show data on launch. They are not transmitted to us.
The app contacts the following services. Each receives only the coordinates needed to answer the request.

These are independent companies with their own privacy practices. We do not control what they do with requests they receive, and we receive nothing back about you. Review their policies if this matters to you.
The app lets you export records, save backup files, and produce PDFs. Anything you export leaves the app's control and becomes your responsibility. If you share an export, be aware it may contain your aircraft registration, owner name and address.
The app is intended for pilots and aircraft owners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
Your data is protected by your device's own security — passcode, Face ID or Touch ID, and iOS file encryption. Because nothing is transmitted to us, there is no server-side breach risk for your records. Keep your device secured and your backups somewhere safe.
Under GDPR, CCPA and similar laws you have rights to access, correct, delete and port your personal data. Because all data stays on your device:
We hold nothing about you, so there is nothing for us to retrieve or delete on your behalf. No request to us is necessary.
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the revised policy at this URL. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
